Bacon Addiction

Hi, My names Marquita and I am addicted to bacon.
I need professional help. I think of Bacon all day and cant stop thinking of it. I dont know what its like to not consume bacon and im worried if i stop that I will suddenly turn blue or worse, that i will wake up someday and not think of bacon.
Any one have any ideas for going(ulp) cold turkey?

    haha. No clue how to help you, Marquita, but I can lend an empathetic ear - Last week I'd re-acquainted myself with bacon and have been eating it compulsively too (even invented chocobacon ;)

    when I was a vegetarian, the one thing that always made me salivate whenever I smelled it, was bacon. It seemed so unfair not to be able to eat such yummy smelling goodness. I stuck it out with my willpower though. Now that I eat meat again, I indulge myself with bacon from time to time but not too much, b/c I know that it's not good for the heart and the arteries. Don't know how to help you stop, I would say just cut back.....um fatback

    MORNINGSTAR FARMS!!!! makes fake bacon that's even better than real bacon! I have nothing against bacon but this is quite delish

      That's just what I was gonna say!
      I have gone through periods of time where I was addicted to Morningstar Farms BLT's. I have a decent and cordial relationship with bacon. I cannot resist it when it is right in front of me, but I don't necc. have to seek the stuff out.

      Currently I am having a vegatarian week, which might become a vegetarian month..anywhoo..i am taking a break from the meat for a while.

      I also have a weakness for sausage..Good sausage and sausage patties and little breakfast links....fortunately Morningstar Farms makes suitable substitutes for the two latter. A yummy snack I like is Pillsbury Buttermilk biscuits with MSF sausage patties and melted cheese with ketchup and mustard.
